Our Team.
At Bay Brook Farm, I have owned Akitas and Australian Shepherds for over two decades.
Our love for the Australian Shepherd started in 1980, our ASCNE registered, Silver City's Buttons and Bows "Buttons" was a wonderful example of the breed. Raised with love and care. She has excelled in both dog shows and junior handling categories. She retired in her prime, she was pointed.
In 2000 the American Akita stole my heart. We were proud to introduce our AKC registered Imperial's It's A Rocky Road, CGC, also known as Roxy. Roxy retired pointed and is was a beautiful and well-trained Akita.
We DO NOT breed dogs at Bay Brook Farm.
Please do not contact us for puppies or dogs.
In 2011, we rescued Miss Coco, who quickly became a beloved member of our family. As dedicated animal lovers, we became foster failures and decided to keep her for ourselves.
In 2014 we introduce our AKC registered Akita, Orients Pride Shogun Warrior, or Troy for short. He may have been deemed a pet because of his appearance, but that doesn't diminish his exceptional personality - he's was a gentle and kind companion. Troy and Coco became a bonded pair with in a few short months of his arrival. Our hearts were broken when we lost Coco and Troy a year apart.
Our Australian Shepherd, Mr. Vincent, is a rescue from CT in 2020, originally from Florida, and spends his days as the as a pretend farm dog. With his friendly bark and wiggling nub, he loves meeting folks. He watches over his chickens, scaring away would be predator's. Mr. Vincent is always up for a game of fetch and thrives on attention and affection. He is such an important part of our family.
We understand the value of a loyal companion and strive to provide the best care and environment for all our animals.
